Is it safe to buy the generic propecia from the canadian pharmacies online?

I have been on propecia for 2 years now. The $70 a month really is a hard pill to swallow, pun intended. I know of the generic version that is available from the canadian pharmacies that uses the exact same ingrediants. Is this a safe alternative? It costs 1/3 the price of the name brand. Any help would be great.

    Heres my info on this… I was ordering from out of country.. getting propecia.. The product was fake. looked weighed every identicle… Its not worth it..you can get generic in the usa for almost nothing… If you are having a hard time getting a prescription because of cost look around. I got mine for 75dollars and pay about 25 a month for the prescription.

    Generic Propecia (finasteride) is ok. I use it with same results, and unfortunately same side effects(a bit dry feeling in the scalp) as brand propecia. Have tried lots of herbal c..p before it and laser combs, so far the only thing that prevents my hairloss, not much regrowth, but has stopped my hairloss completely.
    I buy from this pharmacy – It is under $1 per pill
    As you have been on propecia for 2 years already then you should know about the potential side effects..
    For others possibly reading this -before anyone considers to start propecia you must really study about the side effects. It can mess your hormones real bad if you are not lucky, so you must choose, hair or these side effects. Quite a big perecent have these side effects, more than Merck – the company that holds

    So after reading some of the stories I guess my dry scalp is not much of a side effect..
