The doctor is not at fault. Your hubby is the one you should be angry with.

That isn’t illegal.
Also, doctors can rarely be charged with criminal offenses, for writing prescriptions. At best, it would be civilly actionable (through a law suit).
Also, do you have proof that the Rx was to enable or have an affair AND the doctor knew? Your husband isn’t likely to have shared that with his doctor. He’s likely to have said it was to help him with you.
Legally, if he was told, he couldn’t have told you. It would have violated Dr-patient confidentiality.
