I now have ED, and I am 18 years old…?
Because of my fear of heart attacks when I have chest pains, I took a lot of aspirin. When it was all just my acid reflux… Now because of it, I have another problem to worry about… Erectile Dysfunction.
Please… Help Me, Yahoo Answers…
I feel so… much less of a man….
Please tell me: Is there any way this can pass over time… or do I have to get some kind of cure?
I hate this… I’m so lucky to have a girlfriend that still loves me… but the fact that i can’t please her any longer kills me inside…
please… tell me this can just… pass over time…
Because I don’t want my parents knowing about this… and If my doctor prescribes me to something… They are GOING to know about it… so please…please help me…
Jr2007: to correct you, you CAN experience angina pectoris leading to a Myocardial Infarction at pretty much any age because, although most forms of cardiovascular disease are degenerative and take time and extended periods of poor diet and exercise, one can develop early onset cardiovascular disease most often due to genetic pre-disposition. I’ve treated a 28 year old male who was a sprinter on a local recreational track team who was in peak physical condition, but arrested due to a severe MI. Long story short, You can experience a Myocardial Infarction at almost any age.
Easiest thing is to stop taking the Aspirin, first because extended periods of self medicating is not bright without first consulting a doctor, and second if this is the only change in your activities of daily life than once you have sufficiently decreased the amount of anticoagulants in your system you should return to normal.
Have you seen a doctor for the chest pain to ensure it is GI related? if not, do so to be sure it is truly acid refulx and not a cardiac issue.
