Will watching porn help a man with erectile dysfunction more than just his partner can?

I am 36 dating a 50 year old man with erectile dysfunction. Is it normal with this medical condition for him to need porn to be stimulated?

I think it’s pretty normal actually. My bf watches what I used to think was too much of it. But it really gets him turned on for me, so I guess it all works out. He used to have some problems as well and I think it does help.
